Remembering Wendy's Singapore
Back in May 2015, Wendy’s, a well-known American fast food chain, called it quits here in Singapore after an almost 6-year run. Although the company did not provide an official announcement of their closure, many patrons knew through social media. I visited one of the last outlets back in April 2015 and lets’ take a look back at Wendy’s before its demise.

Botak's Favorites @ 5 Changi Village Road
The majority of Singaporeans surely have heard of this chain of coffeeshop stalls called Botak Jones. Botak Jones sells American fare such as steaks, cutlets, Fish and Chips, burgers and so much more and it has become so famous that they have outlets found almost everywhere in Singapore. If a business like that succeeds, what do they usually do? They expand. As of writing, Botak Jones expanded and created other businesses such as Botak's Favorites and Great Big Food. The former is the Halal version of Botak Jones, suitable for Muslims, while the latter is a catering company that usually serves American fare just like its other businesses. For today's article, I will be concentrating on Botak's Favorites, a Halal version of Botak Jones like what I have mentioned earlier. Read on further to find out more about all the mouthwatering food that I have ordered during my visit.

Seoul Garden @ Ngee Ann City
As of this writing, it's already the beginning of February. Oh time flies extremely fast. It was just a month ago when I celebrated the New Year's countdown with my family. Anyway, since it's a new month, that means a new set of blog posts will be available on Frenzeelo. The first article for this month is about Seoul Garden, a Halal buffet restaurant that sells a wide variety of Korean cuisine along with sushi and marinated meats. This is the second buffet restaurant that I have visited that requires me to cook the food myself. The outlet that I am going to talk about will be the one located at Ngee Ann City, a shopping mall right in the heart of Orchard Road. If you don't live near Orchard Road, there are plenty of Seoul Garden outlets located in the heartlands of Singapore. Scroll down to read more about my experience at Seoul Garden Ngee Ann City.

Shabu Sushi @ NEX (Update)
Update: Shabu Sushi Restaurant has officially closed as of 1st October 2014
You know what's better than Shabu-shabu cuisine? Shabu-shabu cuisine AND sushi. Yes, it is definitely possible thanks to Shabu Sushi. Shabu Sushi is a buffet restaurant located at NEX, a neighbourhood mall located in the heart of Serangoon. They serve a wide variety of Japanese food which obviously includes Shabu-shabu and sushi. If you don't know what Shabu-shabu is, it's basically a Japanese cuisine whereby there will be thinly sliced pieces of meat along with vegetables boiled in hot broth and served with a variety of dipping sauces. It's somewhat similar to steamboat. I don't think I have to explain what sushi is because that's pretty self-explanatory. Do read on further about my dining experience at this great buffet restaurant.

Allgood Cafe @ NEX
Residents of Serangoon Central will find it difficult to find delicious and affordable food like Fried Rice and Kway Teow as there is no hawker centre nearby. In fact, the nearest hawker centres from Serangoon Central is the Chomp Chomp Food Centre and Serangoon Garden Market and Food Centre which is too far away. However, they don't have to worry because at NEX shopping mall, there is one cafe selling delicious and affordable fried dishes without having the need to go to a hawker centre called Allgood Cafe.

Muscat Street Ramadan Bazaar 2012
If you don't know, Ramadan is a period in the Islamic calendar in which healthy Muslims have to fast from Dawn to Dusk every day leading up to Hari Raya. This is also the time where Muslims will prepare for Hari Raya celebrations. Ramadan will not be complete without Ramadan bazaars which are basically a bigger version of regular neighbourhood night markets. In today's article, I'll be giving you a tour of the Ramadan Bazaar at Muscat Street which is near the famous Sultan Mosque and Haji Lane.

Cake Talk @ Blk 183 Toa Payoh Central (Closed)
Singaporeans love bakeries. It's always a joy to walk past bakeries because you can smell the freshly baked bread and pastries. It's even better if you actually head to the bakery itself and try out their baked goods. Today, I'll be talking about a new bakery in the heart of Toa Payoh Town Centre called Cake Talk which sells a variety of buns, breads, pastries, cakes and so much more. Let's have a look at the store and the things I bought at the bakery itself.

Domino's Pizza Delivery in Singapore
In Singapore, the most common pizza delivery service is Pizza Hut Delivery. Other than Pizza Hut, there are so many other options when it comes to pizza delivery like Canadian Pizza, Sarpino's and so much more. In today's article, I'll be talking about another popular pizza delivery service known as Domino's Pizza. Domino's Pizza is a popular US-based pizza restaurant that serves varieties of pizza and other dishes and it's found all over the world including Singapore. However, the most popular part of Domino's is not their pizza but their lightning speed delivery service. They claim that their pizzas will be delivered to you within 30 minutes flat. Does that mean their quality will be affected? Scroll down to find out more.

Texas Chicken has various outlets around the island and the one that I'm going to feature in this article is the outlet at NEX which is a shopping mall in the north eastern part of Singapore called Serangoon.

Mayson Bakery @ Jurong Point
Bakeries are very popular among Singaporeans. You can find bakeries almost everywhere in Singapore including the famous ones like BreadTalk and PrimaDeli. There are also some unknown and never-heard-before bakeries such as the one that I'm going to talk about known as Mayson Bakery. Mayson Bakery is a Halal bakery which sells a variety of freshly baked buns, loafs, puffs and egg tarts. It only has two outlets in Singapore which are Suntec City Mall and Jurong Point. Let's take a closer look at what I have purchased from this bakery.
Yong Soon You Tiao @ Food Republic VivoCity
VivoCity is also known as one of the largest shopping mall in Singapore. The mall has great architecture, facilities, shops, food establishments and so much more. Right at the top most level beside the SkyPark and Sentosa Express station is a popular food court called Food Republic which serves a wide variety of local dishes and snacks. One particular stall that caught my attention was Yong Soon You Tiao which is a stall selling Soya Bean drinks, Beancurd and a range of fried dough fritters. Let's have a look at some of their offerings.

Popeyes Chicken @ Square 2
Fried Chicken must be one of the most popular comfort food in Singapore. There are lots of places to find fried chicken in Singapore from fast food restaurants to food kiosks to hawker centres to food courts and so much more. There are literally thousands of places to get delicious hot and crispy fried chicken that's satisfyingly good in the island of Singapore. In today's article, I am going to talk about the fried chicken and my experience at Popeyes Chicken at Square 2. Square 2 is a mall in the Novena area and it's just right beside Novena Square (AKA Velocity) which is another shopping mall and it's much older. It links to nearby hospitals such as Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Novena Medical Center, Novena Specialist Center and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. After eating so much fried chicken, you might want to check out your cholesterol level at any of the neighbouring hospitals. It's also directly connected to Novena MRT Station on the North South Line.

Pizza Hut @ Heartland Mall Kovan
About a few months ago, I wrote an article about Singapore's Pizza Hut Delivery service and what I ordered. Since Pizza Hut is also popular with its restaurants, in today's article, I am going to do a write-up of my experience at a Pizza Hut restaurant and what I ate at the outlet in Heartland Mall Kovan. Heartland Mall Kovan is a relatively small shopping mall with a lot indie shops. The anchor tenant is Cold Storage Supermarket and has a wide variety of food and beverage outlets like KFC, Yoshinoya, Old Chang Kee, Pizza Hut and more. Heartland Mall Kovan is located in Hougang South also known as Kovan City.

Breeks Cafe @ City Square Mall
Right at Singapore's first eco-friendly shopping mall, also known as City Square Mall, is a restaurant which serves different kinds of pastas, main courses, Western dishes, delectable desserts and mouth-watering Buffalo Wings. It's called Breeks Cafe and it's unlike any other restaurants you have visited before.
Located right in the heart of Farrer Park, the lesser-known area of Little India, is filled with lots of Indian-oriented shops and restaurants. You'll find shops selling Indian merchandise, the mega department store known as Mustafa Centre and Indian restaurants like Komala's located just right across the street from Farrer Park MRT Station. But we're not going to concentrate on that now, we're going to concentrate on City Square Mall and the awesome Breeks Cafe that's in the mall.

Mad Jack Cafe @ NEX
G'Day mates! Are you hungry? Do you have XTREME attitude and character? Well, it's time for you to get MADDDD!!! You know what I'm talking about? I'm talking about Mad Jack Cafe. I'll be showing you the delicious food and desserts available here located in a heartland shopping mall also known as NEX in Serangoon, Singapore. Mad Jack Cafe is a restaurant which serves up Western, Asian and Vegetarian food in an Australian theme. They serve mouth-watering food and desserts ready to unleash the inner Aussie in you.
What's great about this restaurant is that you won't get charged the 10 per cent service charge. Almost every restaurant in Singapore will charge the Service Charge because waiters take your order and serve you. Think of it as a convenience fee. Whereas here at Mad Jack, you take the order chit, write down your order, present it to the counter, pay and wait for your food to be delivered to you. It's that easy. It may be slightly inconvenient, buy hey, you'll save money. After eating, you can just exit the restaurant since you have already paid for it in the beginning. Read on further to check out their selection of delicious food that I got from the restaurant.
